Privacy Policy
What we collect
vibereport analyzes commit messages only. We never read, store, or transmit your source code. The CLI parses your local git history and extracts metadata: commit counts, author trailers, timestamps, and language statistics from file extensions.
Sharing
By default, scan results are uploaded to vibereport.dev so they appear on the
community leaderboard. You can opt out with --no-share.
Shared reports include: repository name, AI ratio, vibe score, grade, roast, language breakdown,
and commit counts. No source code, diffs, or file contents are ever sent.
Web scans
When you scan a repo via the website, we fetch commit data from the GitHub API. Results are cached for 10 minutes per repository. The same metadata is stored as CLI scans.
Storage
Reports are stored in Cloudflare D1 (SQLite). We use Cloudflare Workers for the API and Vercel for the frontend. No third-party data brokers or ad networks.
Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics for basic page view metrics. No cookies, no cross-site tracking, no personal data collection.
Data deletion
Want your report removed? Open an issue on GitHub with the repository name and we'll delete it.
